Stone paving is very popular, and is an attractive alternative to brick or concrete.  This is a good application for sandstone (both polished and unpolished) as it is quite durable, colorful, and easily maintained at lower cost for cutting and fitting in comparison to other stone types.

Here's an example of a Corporate Reception area with a granite worktop and flooring in contrasting colors.

This is a mock-up image of a typical sidewalk in a beige sandstone.

This mock-up image is similar, but with a grey-pink sandstone.  Before you pour that "blah" concrete sidewalk leading to your front door, how would this look in combination with a front step in the same stone?
